Bashman is a thief who thinks he’s funny. He’s using clips of Melinda’s videos in a dvd of his garbage videos that he’s selling! His username on Youtube is “Bashmaniacal.” Contact him through youtube or through one of the websites selling his crap like patdollard.com or thebashman.com and let him know that he shouldn’t be infringing on Melinda in his “Bash’s Bootleg” dvd. If you’re particularly ambitious, make a video telling what you think about it and post it as a response to one of Bashman’s videos, or to one of Melinda’s or to this video of mine. Thanks!
*** GORE PORN WARNING: Although I encourage people to watch Bashman’s DVD preview video before thoroughly criticizing him, you might not want to watch it, since it shows corpses without heads, people getting shot and bombed, etc. With any luck, youtube will flag it or remove it due to disgusting and violent imagery in the video. Don’t flag it just because you don’t like him, but if you feel it deserves to be flags according to Youtubes rules, as I do, then go for it.
Melinda was playing some song in the other room as I recorded this. Was I infringing on that song?!?! Eek! I promise to extend 100% of profits from this video as royalties to the appropriate artist (i.e., $0.00). No HUMAN BEINGS were harmed in the making of this video. Can’t say that about Bashman’s videos.

From what I hear, some of your videos were taken down from Liveleak because they agreed about copyright violation (either Melinda’s or the dozens of others you’ve used clips from). So you repost one of them on youtube and try to claim that you were intentionally pulling videos because you were “feeling sorry”? It’s not even a “new” video. I’ve seen it before, with the substantial excerpt of song, way too long for THAT to be fair use.
I’m sorry that there’s this misunderstanding where you think you can get away with using clips of anything if you keep it short and if you crack yourself up. Please read more about copyrights and fair use. You will see that the length of the clip or excerpt you use is only one factor in the determination of whether it’s fair use. They also are looking for something other than simple humor or someone finding it funny for it to qualify as “parody.”
